I have tried everything that I know to do so... How in the world do you stop a dog from digging at a fence? All 3 of mine like to dig there.
It appears that the dogs are bored. You can try using chicken wire in the ground to slow them down. But try and find things for them to use their natural digging desire. | 12.29.15 @ 20:00
My Dad used to fill in the holes my dog dug with a cinder block, brick or paving stone and the rest with dirt so the dog couldn't re-dig. We found out the problem was our dog was hyper, bored and felt cooped up. Once he started going for walks, he almost completely stopped. | 12.29.15 @ 20:01
This was something I had to learn how to control with mine! For us, we had to add wire around the fence post on the inside and outside as well as make sure all holes were closed in. | 12.29.15 @ 20:03
can you separate the dog from the fence? Maybe put them on a dog run away from the fence | 12.29.15 @ 20:03
Are the dogs digging in one particular spot? My suggestion would be to place something like chicken wire on the ground in the spot where they are digging that they would not like to feel on their paws. I also wonder if there might be a strong scent product that would keep them away from the area. (Are there any scents that dogs do not like??) | 12.29.15 @ 20:03
We've built box just for our dog to dig in and he's been trained that's the only place he can do it. | 12.29.15 @ 20:04
