Is it okay to use Frontline flea treatments for cats more than once a month?

I normally use Frontline on my cat and I know it says to only use it monthly but I am seeing an occasional flea before we make it the full 30 days, It is okay to retreat sooner?

Irene, I’d advise not to use Frontline any more frequently than recommended. Cats are sensitive to chemicals and while Frontline is a very safe product, too much may not be good for your puss. It’s important to remember that Frontline isn’t a flea repellent and fleas will need to jump on your cat to be killed. It’s therefore possible that you will still see a flea or two but they’ll die quickly.

To reduce the number of fleas on your cat, look at treating your environment where the intermediate stages of the flea lifecycle are found. Any flea treatment should be accompanied by environmental treatment, and that will give you the best control. | 12.16.15 @ 00:25

I have noticed that frontline has become useless in fighting fleas. It's like the fleas are immune to it. | 12.29.15 @ 20:43
