I cover over my pets beds with a pillow case or bed sheet and changed them once a week like I do for my own bed. Keeps things much cleaner!

Here's a great tip for dealing with fur everywhere in the house! Use a window squeegee on furniture and stairs or just a regular rubber glove. The hair gets swept up so easily! | 08.31.15 @ 09:42

When Koba and Mia get a bit rowdy with each other because they are just plumb tired but won't go to sleep because they're afraid they'll miss something, I get the kids to help brush them both (slowly and soothingly) at the same time - off to sleep for that much needed nap! | 09.15.15 @ 14:25

Make sure that the toys you give your dog are easy for him to tell apart from normal household items. For example, don't confuse him by offering shoes and socks as toys and then expecting him to distinguish between his shoe and yours. | 09.15.15 @ 14:30

Training hack /tip though probably well known, if you use pads while training place them in one area of your yard and lead the dog to that area while training so they find the scent and use that single area most often , less cleanup | 09.15.15 @ 14:45

Invest a little more in the beds that include replaceable pads and washable liners. Just be sure to follow the care instructions as pets cannot handle traditional laundry detergent. | 09.15.15 @ 16:02

For pet hair on solid floors (wood or tile), I use a spray mist bottle of water and use a dedicated broom to sweep up the fur without it flying away and getting in the air. The fur balls stay clumped for easy cleanup. | 09.15.15 @ 16:51

When the pups are rowdy because they're so tired and need a nap, yet they don't want to miss anything, then it's time for a simultaneous brushing. Long, slow brushing to make them drowsy, and the kids love helping. Great way to get that nap going! | 09.15.15 @ 18:36
