While fleas and ticks can be found in every state, pet parents in certain areas don’t have to worry about these little pests nearly as much as their counterparts in other areas of the USA. Some states on the East Coast have higher numbers of tick-borne illnesses like Ehrlichiosis, Lyme disease, and Anaplasmosis than other states and, as such, it’s wise to be extra careful in these areas.
