Hi,
The main reason acetaminophen is poisonous for dogs and cats (and other species) is that the drug is broken down and eliminated from the body in a different way than in people. This leads to a build up of toxic metabolites in the body.
IMPORTANT: Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is very dangerous to dogs and cats and should never be given to them. | 07.10.15 @ 12:02
